Music

mehulguitaraesthetic

From listening to music constantly to playing instruments, I've been a melomaniac since day one. This page is a place for me to share my musical interests.

My Guitar

Inspired by playing RockBand, guitar has always been one of my interests. For a long period of time I had set guitar aside, however these past few years I've been getting back into it. Check out my Youtube Channel to see what I've been playing.

Mia & Sebastian's Theme, La La Land

Heard this song and was immediately transfixed.

Amelia, by Jubing Kristano

I used this piece to try and elevate my playing. For the first time I truly focused my intention on musicality rather than just playing the piece "correctly." Hope you enjoy it!

Check out the story behind the song: here.

Best Albums

From either having nearly every song on the album be amazing to redefining the sound of music, these albums deserve special recognition.

deletedscenes

Caro Emerald at her finest. Her debut album, Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor does not miss even once.

aloneatprom

Perhaps one of the most underrated albums ever, Tory Lanez's Alone at Prom has a uniquely reminiscent sound. Even though a couple songs don't make the cut, most of the songs on this album are sensational. (Disclaimer: I like the music not the man)

goodbyeandgoodriddance

Emotional, sad, real. Goodbye and Good Riddance is Juice World's debut studio album, and carries an unadulterated version of who he is. The artistic intent is evident behind each song, and as a result every song is fire.

funkwav

Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 by Calvin Harris was the first album I listened to from start to finish without taking any breaks. Boasting a unique sound perfect for beach days, this album is amazing.

random access memories

Daft Punk's impact on digital sound, improvising, other artists, and music in general is hard to understate. Random Access Memories, to me, is the triumph of their unique sound that has captivated musicians worldwide. In this album, they fascinate us once again stacking each song with immense musical depth filled with instruments, vocals, and various digital noises.

your name

I was excited for MICHELLE's album After Dinner We Talk Dreams but after listening to the album, I was confused. I thought, how could they be capable of producing such great music yet not be more mainstream than they are? If you like Indie music and haven't listened to MICHELLE yet, do yourself a favor and start here.
